So the past week was pretty much the week from hell.  What with the history test, chem test, math test, Harpers, etc.. it sucked.  I got practically no sleep.  But now that it's over, I'm happy.

We dominated Simi in tennis, too.  That was fun.  Bethany and I OWN.

Nashville in a little under a month.. yes!

So I've kind of been neglecting my xanga.  School started, I got a myspace.. etc.  But now, a month later, I'm finally updating.

My day is amazing based one fact: it's raining.
I'm happy.

Here we are, once again, as yet another summer comes to a close.

It doesn't feel like it's over yet.  Like it's just another sunset in the course of the summer.  I guess I just have to wait for it to hit me.

Here's to summer '06.

One week until school starts.

I have yet to write my essay or learn the various things for chem.

Oh well, I'm still trying to enjoy myself in my last days.

So... here I am, a month after my previous post.  No reason; I just didn't want my xanga to go dead.

I spent the last week in Escondito at a resort con mi familia.  It was pretty nice.  I ate, lounged around the pool and got a slight tan.  Not that you can tell, because my skin has decided that it is not partial to tanning.
One of those days, we visited Old Town, which is one of my favorite places in southern California.  It's like the first city/town of CA (or something along those lines).  While there, we visited a little cart that sold cheap souveniers.  My brother bought "Nunchucks" (which is, quite literally, a gun that fires little nun figurines) and I purchased what is now my favorite magnet of all time:
[Magnet] God loves you! Some restrictions may apply(ignore the number)
It is currently positioned on the metal part of my desk, soon to be relocated to my locker when school starts.
Speaking of which, I can't believe summer is almost over.  School is only 18 days away.  I'm feeling kind of bittersweet about the situation.  On one hand, I'm looking forward to seeing friends and having some more good times.  On the other foot, I do not desire the workload that accompanies the fun stuff.  And I still have to read my books for english, write my essay, and memorize the first 3 chapters of my $3 chem AP book.  Which has not arrived in the mail yet, so I have an excuse.  So there.

Anyway, this entry turned out quite longer than I intended, but that's just fine.  Consider this a favor, as you get to practice reading for long amounts of time before returning to school.

Until whenever,

Katie
